Pack and get dressed

Salvatore went back to LA, his vacation is over and now he has to cook for my mother again. I don't even want to think about going back, but I know I have to. Sooner or later anyway. I'm still in New York with Avy but we don't spend much time together, she seems distracted. I don't want to impose, she knows she can talk to me if she wants to. I'm restless, and I can't see what the future will look like. I just want to get away again, to go anywhere but here and feel anything but this. Italy maybe, it was good to me this past summer. A part of me wants to call Tom, it's been months since we last talked. Should I call him?

    I scrolled down through your prior postings to remind myself of what you wrote about Tom. Here's one passage:

    "At first I thought he was my Vergilius leading me through hell, but somewhere along the way I got lost. He's an amazing person and I really do love him . . . ."

    Should you call Tom? Of course you should. But I'm betting he reads your posting, and he calls you first.

    I'm looking forward to reading more of your blog. I don't know who Avy ot Tom is, yet. But, Avy, I think you should remind her that you are there if she needs you, women always need that reminder even when they should already know it.

    Tom, he's a guy, and I think if you lost touch and haven't been in touch, there's a reason. Don't cause yourself pain in trying for something that isn't, you'll miss out on what is. He's a guy and he would pursue you if it was meant to be, wouldn't he?! Guys that really, really want for something keep after it and until he feels the need to call you, maybe you should do something like hike to the top of the Hollywood sign and reflect on what it is you want the most.
